ONE-DAY TOURNAMENT-CLAY COURT-DOUBLES

-Registration open until Wed Apr 13 2016- Registration will be closed earlier once we reach maximum limit.
DIVISIONS:
Mixed-Doubles 3.5 Adult- Doubles 3.5 Men's- Doubes 4.0
ADULT Division- Open for all teams women, men and/or Mixed. Rest are exclusive.
Doubles Partner- Bring in your partner, male or female. If you are unsure of your partner during the registration time, enter your email id under partner detail. Either you can change it or email county director once you find your partner.
FEE:(Includes Court fee, refreshment and balls)-Just bring your Racquet
Doubles -$30/Player (After Apr 5 2016- $35)
Additional Guest Fee- For meal $10-To be paid. Separate payment link will be sent later if you are plannign to bring guest.
Each player must signup separately for doubles. Doubles team will be incomplete if your partner miss to signup. Please remind your partner to join the same doubles tournament level/division (3.5 or 4.0) of your choice.
The format of the tournament is an adapted version of the ATPTL. All regulations of the tournament are as per USTA standard rules. Mentioned herein are only the deviations from those for the current tournament. The aim of this tennis tournament is to play competitive tennis in a short span of play time without sacrificing the fun and tensions involved in the game.
Players/Teams will be placed in a pool randomly.
GAME FORMAT:
The format will guarantee multiple matches in a short period of span with limited elimination(based on the entries) at the end of round 1. Most of the team will move to knockout round. We will try to retain all the teams for the knockout.

**Tentative schedule-subject to change. Please be prepared to stay until 4:00PM
GAME POINTS: Regular tennis game points are followed. At deuce, 2nd deuce will be a break point. Team/player winning the break point takes the game.
I-ROUND1- Round-robin matches. No elimination.
-Round robin matches will be played for best of 6 games.
-At 3-3, play a tiebreak, minimum of 5 points with difference of 2 points.
II-PLAYOFF:
-QF and SF- 1 Regular set , and tiebreak(7 points).At deuce, 2nd deuce will be a break point
-Championship Final-1 Regular standard set.
General Info
-Player/Team can take 10-15 minutes break between matches if needed.
- score entry- paperless event. players/team are expected to update their score from your mobile as soon as you finish a match. Or you can report to the ground staff/Admin to update your score.
-All games are played by honor system.
- Non-sportsmanship behavior would not be tolerated at any time whether it is during or off the game.
