We take every step to maintain the competitive balance in each level. At the end of every season, based on the player's performance, ranking and rating received from other players admin will determine the appropriate level the player should play in next time.

Yes. if you opt to play in two level, decide your current position in that level. If you are ranked in the top half that level, we recommeded to play a level, if not a level down which will help to improve your skills as well. However, if admin or players find that you are over skilled or under skilled, he/she will decide at his/her own discretion to move that player up or down a level to maintain competitive balance.

 When you are a finalist or consistently reaching semi final for the last few seasons, you can play at the current level and/or a level up.

For regular tournament that runs in the span of 7-10 weeks for the round-robin and 1-2 weeks for the knockout, total of approximately 12 weeks.

Yes, Each tournament hosts singles and doubles format of the game. Players can sign up both singles and doubles and/or multiple league level at the same time.

Your dash board will list your opponent with a play by date. you will be expected to play 1 match/week per league, however, you can play earlier or later per your convenience.

Yes,you can. Players under 55 can not signup for 55+ category. However, 55+ players can choose the level they want to compete.

Until otherwise specified by the organizers, players are free to choose any mutually agreeable date and venue. It could be your community, club, park or public courts.

There are lots of free courts around. Please check tennis courts for the available courts in your area.

Once a participant signs up, the system allocates him/her to a pool of similar skilled players who are geographically collocated with a proposed match schedule. Based on the area and ranking, players will be allocated in a pool.

Per ATPTL's guideline, winning player/ team carries the responsibility of promptly updating the match score. If the losing player spots a discrepancy on the match score, he has the right to correct the score

Email your county admin. Admin will review and allow each case prior to pairing with a new partner if needed. New player must singup and pay the participation fee.

The ultimate responsibility to identify partner lies with the player but upon approach ATPTL team can help the player find one.

Players are advised to maintain an open dialogue with each other. Be courteous and respect opponent player's time and commitment. Return participating player's phone calls, text messages, emails in a prompt manner.

Player's continued unavailability to complete a match will empower the opponent to flag the match as "default". Reasonable evidence must be furnished proving a player's repeat unavailability to complete a match prior to the knockout round before a match can be rendered as "default". Players are advised to consult the county tournament coordinator before setting a match status to "default"

Yes, you can contact the players in advance and schedule your match earlier or later than the play by date based on your convenience. However, remember, the round 1 may have an end date to complete all your scheduled round robin matches prior to that, in order for the admin to publish knockout draw..

Usually, the system allocates a match/league/ week. It is expected to play at least one match in a week per league. However, you can play all your matches in a week or follow the system generated schedule closely to keep up pace with others and avoid schedule conflict.

Yes, there is no hard deadline for round 1 matches which usually runs between 7-10 weeks. You can communicate in advance with your opponent and work the schedule that will fit you both. Please remember, your schedule for Round1 will be flexible but expected to complete matches prior to the knock out round to qualify next round..

For every match, ATPTL's smart system automatically classifies one player as "Home" and the opponent as "Visitor". Player designated as "Home" on match retains the privilege of picking up a Tennis court(place) of his choice for that match. We recommend players to discuss and pick the one that is convenient to both.

We require players to pick up a location that adheres to following standards:

1) Pick a court that is well kept – has smooth surface, good quality net.

2) Ensure court has adequate lighting facility if a match is being played in the evening.

3) Reserve the courts in advance to avoid waiting outside the court.

4) Ensure the court location offers bathroom facilities, water fountain, benches, and vending machines

In case if the agreed upon Tennis court location requires an access fee; the court proponent should disclose this information at the time of initial communication with the player. Consider offering a guest pass to the opponent as a gesture of friendship and courtesy.
